Joint Recruitment Briefing for Relocated Public Institutions in Innovation Cities
Public institutions relocated to innovation cities in Ulsan and Gyeongnam will hold a joint briefing session to recruit local talent.
Ulsan City announced that on the 26th at 10 a.m., it will hold the "2023 Ulsan Gyeongnam Innovation City Public Institutions Local Talent Joint Recruitment Briefing" at the Ulsan University Student Union Building.
The briefing session was organized to increase employment rates of local talent and expand recruitment opportunities at public institutions by promoting recruitment information and related systems of public institutions relocated to innovation cities.
Local talent refers to individuals who have graduated or are expected to graduate from local universities and high schools located in the metropolitan cities or provinces where the public institutions have relocated.
The event consists of indoor and outdoor activities. The indoor events include ▲Recruitment briefing by HR managers ▲Employment senior talk concert ▲Special lecture on National Competency Standards (NCS).
At the recruitment briefing by HR managers, four public institutions in Ulsan Innovation City?Korea East-West Power, Korea Energy Agency, Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service?and two public institutions in Gyeongnam Innovation City?Korea Land and Housing Corporation and the National Agency for Management of Land, Infrastructure and Transport?will provide their 2023 recruitment plans and conduct on-site Q&A sessions.
The employment senior talk session will feature new employees from six institutions including Korea National Oil Corporation, Korea Energy Agency, Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, and Korea Land and Housing Corporation, sharing useful job-hunting tips to assist attendees.
The special lecture on National Competency Standards (NCS) will be provided by the National Competency Standards Center of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, offering guidance on NCS-based recruitment for students preparing for public institution employment for the first time.
The outdoor events will include spaces for ▲Promotion of Ulsan Gyeongnam Innovation City public institutions ▲Ulsan University consulting space ▲Ulsan Job Foundation promotion ▲Ulsan Employment and Labor Office Employment Welfare Plus Center promotion ▲LH recruitment lounge, among others.
The public institutions participating in the outdoor events include five institutions from the Ulsan area?Korea National Oil Corporation, Korea East-West Power, Korea Energy Agency, Human Resources Development Service of Korea, Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency?and six institutions from the Gyeongnam area?Korea Land and Housing Corporation, National Agency for Management of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korea Elevator Safety Agency, Korea South-East Power, Korea Ceramic Technology Institute, and Housing Management Corporation?totaling 11 institutions.
An official from Ulsan City said, "As this is the first face-to-face event in four years since COVID-19, we hope the joint recruitment briefing will greatly help local talent in Ulsan secure employment at public institutions relocated to innovation cities."
Gyeongsangnam-do will hold the event one day earlier, on April 25, at Gyeongsang National University.
