Dragonfly is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as a result of expectations that it will benefit from government policies following the announcement that digital therapeutics based on mobile and metaverse will be developed over the next three years starting this year.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare is preparing technology to manage the mental health of the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) based on mobile and metaverse platforms. Within this year, the ministry plans to develop mental health measurement indicators and algorithms for depression and anxiety using mobile phone usage data. The government will also create a mental health monitoring application utilizing these developed indicators.
Next year, mental health promotion content based on the metaverse will be released, and by 2025, services linking this content with medical institutions will be implemented. Additionally, a commercialization strategy incorporating the metaverse will be established.
Meanwhile, Dragonfly has been engaged in the digital therapeutics business since 2021 and has completed a prototype of the digital therapeutic “Guardians DTx (tentative name)” targeting children aged 7 to 13 with ADHD. Currently, the company is conducting the first clinical phase, an exploratory clinical trial.
The Korea Health Industry Development Institute forecasts that the global digital therapeutics market will grow from $3.88 billion this year to $17.34 billion by 2030.
