National Museum of Korea Lecture on 'History and Exhibitions of the National Gallery, UK'

The National Museum Association will hold a special lecture titled "The History and Exhibition of the National Gallery, London" from May 17 to June 28 at the National Museum of Korea Education Center Small Auditorium.

The lecture is organized in connection with the special exhibition "The Gaze of the Master, Toward People - National Gallery Masterpieces," which will be held at the National Museum of Korea starting June 2 to commemorate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and the United Kingdom. Professor Choi Byung-jin of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies will introduce the history and collections of the National Gallery, and exhibition tickets will be provided to attendees afterward.

In June, every Friday, a course titled "European City Travel from the Museum" will be held at the National Museum of Korea's "Theater Yong." Professor Jeon Won-kyung of Sejong Cyber University will select major representative cities of Europe and explain their history, art, and musicians. The lectures will include listening to works by prominent musicians. The tuition fee is 210,000 KRW, and 300 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.


Both National Museum Association members and the general public are welcome to attend. Detailed application methods can be found on the National Museum Association website or by phone inquiry.
