Kim Yoon-cheol, Hapcheon County Governor, Joins Single-Use Plastics Zero Challenge

Encouraging National Participation in Resource Saving and Greenhouse Gas Reduction

Kim Yoon-chul, the mayor of Hapcheon County, Gyeongnam, participated in the ‘Single-Use Products Zero Challenge,’ pledging to reduce single-use products.


Kim Yoon-cheol, Hapcheon County Governor, Joins Single-Use Plastics Zero Challenge Kim Yoon-chul, the governor of Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, is participating in the single-use products zero challenge.

The ‘Single-Use Products Zero Challenge’ is a campaign conducted by posting a pledge to reduce single-use products on social networking services (SNS) to encourage national participation in resource saving and greenhouse gas reduction, and recommending the next participants.


Mayor Kim said, “Through the ‘Single-Use Products Zero Challenge,’ our county will make greater efforts to cultivate awareness of resource saving,” adding, “Public institutions will take the lead in reducing single-use products, and we hope the residents will actively participate as well.”


Meanwhile, the next participants recommended were Kim Jin-bu, chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council, and Lee Jae-wook, chief of Hapcheon Police Station.
