Seongdong-gu, presenting an urban-type leading model for the Hometown Love Donation System, signs the 8th agreement among local governments and accelerates promotion
Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) recently signed a business agreement with the social enterprise Gonggam Manse to revitalize the promotion of the Hometown Love Donation System.
Gonggam Manse is promoting various social contribution projects such as youth travel schools by establishing a symbiotic fair travel model that helps local self-reliance to create a sustainable world. In line with the company’s purpose, it opened a promotion portal called "WIGIB" this year to activate the Hometown Love Donation System, which is implemented to solve problems such as regional extinction and widening gaps between regions.
So far, a total of seven local governments, including Yanggu-gun in Gangwon Province, have signed agreements to introduce unique local content and provide information on Hometown Love Donation thank-you gifts through "WIGIB." With Seongdong-gu becoming the eighth to sign an agreement, it will join as a promotional partner for the successful establishment of the Hometown Love Donation System.

Seongdong-gu is presenting the direction for the urban-type Hometown Love Donation System and is leading the discovery of pioneering fund projects.
In particular, it is building an independent local brand such as the ‘Seongsu Hot Place Pass’ through business partnerships with companies symbolizing the Seongsu area, showing a differentiated approach from other local governments.
Seongdong-gu expects to further accelerate the promotion of the Hometown Love Donation System through this business agreement with Gonggam Manse.
Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, "The Hometown Love Donation System proposed by Seongdong-gu is about creating an environment where everyone who lives, works, and enjoys Seongdong-gu as their living area, even if it is not their hometown, can benefit." He added, "Through this agreement, we will strive to effectively promote the Seongdong-type Hometown Love Donation System and expand the consensus for participation in donations."
