Promotion of Healing Know-How and Cultural Experience Activities

On the 13th, Gurye-gun in Jeollanam-do announced that it conducted the Gugoksundam (Gurye, Gokseong, Sunchang, Damyang) Longevity Belt Administrative Council Healing Know-how Cultural Experience together with 30 members of the Jeollanam-do Gurye-gun branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association (Chairman Son Byeong-gwan).

The Gugoksundam Healing Know-how Cultural Experience is an event held annually on a rotating basis by the four counties of Gurye-gun, Gokseong-gun, Sunchang-gun, and Damyang-gun to celebrate healthy and long-lived seniors.

This event started with Gurye-gun, the chair county, and was conducted in the form of providing and experiencing various attractions such as the thousand-year-old temple Cheoneunsa, walking the Dulle-gil trail, visiting the Pressed Flower Museum, and wood culture experiences. It is scheduled to proceed in the order of Damyang-gun (April 19), Sunchang-gun (April 28), and Gokseong-gun (May 3).

Kim Sun-ho, the governor of Gurye-gun, said, "I hope that through the Gugoksundam Healing Know-how Cultural Experience, exchanges among local seniors will expand and it will develop further into a healthy longevity culture festival."
