Communicating with Local Merchants to Develop Revitalization Plans

Lee Sang-geun, the governor of Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, visited Baedun Market on the 14th to communicate with local merchants and inspect the market's current status.

On this day, Governor Lee discussed various support measures to alleviate the difficulties faced by merchants in Baedun Market and listened to diverse opinions, emphasizing that revitalizing Baedun Market is directly linked to the overall economic revitalization of Goseong-gun.

Lee Sang-geun, the governor of Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, visited Baedun Market to communicate with local merchants and review the market's current status.

The governor stated, “Baedun Market is the gateway to our county and truly the face of Goseong-gun,” adding, “To create a better market, I will empathize with the merchants' difficulties and continue to communicate consistently.”

Meanwhile, Goseong-gun has secured a budget of 150 million KRW this year for the renovation of the market arcade as part of the Baedun Market facility modernization project. Last year, the project included the construction of a rain shelter for the parking lot and the establishment of customer convenience facilities, and the modernization project will continue with these improvements.
