The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, together with Goyang, Yangju, Pocheon cities, and Yeoncheon County, is recruiting companies to participate in the Northern Gyeonggi Region Global Market Development Team for the second half of this year.
The Global Market Development Team is a project designed to support promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) wishing to enter overseas markets by selecting them and providing assistance such as local market trend analysis and one-on-one export consultations with buyers, aiming to increase exports of participating companies.
In the second half of this year, three consultation sessions with buyers from various regions around the world are planned for SMEs located in the four participating cities and counties in the northern Gyeonggi area: ▲ August CIS (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia) ▲ September Oceania (Australia, New Zealand) ▲ Japan. Among the CIS consultation schedule, an online video consultation will also be held targeting the Russian region.
The online video consultations are free, while overseas dispatches are conducted for a fee. Participating companies can receive follow-up support such as local marketing for overseas market development even after consultations with buyers are completed.
Companies wishing to participate should check the eligibility criteria (which vary by city/county) on the respective city/county websites and apply by the 28th of this month. Companies located in Goyang can apply online through the EasyBiz website.
Meanwhile, last year, the Northern Gyeonggi Region Global Market Development Team mainly conducted online video consultations due to COVID-19.
