According to the ACRC, an analysis of big data from complaints received through the National Sinmungo and local government complaint centers revealed that last year, complaints related to reserve forces training totaled 6,495 cases, more than three times the 1,948 cases from the previous year. Over the past three years, a total of 20,284 complaints have been received.

In particular, 34.8% of complaints related to reserve forces training occurred during April and May. This surge is attributed to the resumption of reserve forces mobilization training, which had not been conducted normally due to COVID-19.

The main complaints include ▲ conducting training not only at the registered address but also at the nearby actual residence ▲ paying reserve forces transportation expenses out of pocket ▲ provided meals, among others. Additionally, there were complaints requesting that training be available on Sundays for self-employed individuals, and that mobilization training itself is difficult for single-parent families.

Meanwhile, the total number of complaints in March this year was 1,155,571, a 23.8% increase compared to the previous month. The region with the highest increase was Gwangju Metropolitan City, where complaints related to redevelopment construction, such as requests for seismic and vibration isolation design application, increased by 85.7% compared to the previous month.

Among central administrative agencies, complaints related to the ACRC and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport increased significantly. Complaints to the ACRC totaled 24,952 cases, a 525.7% increase compared to the previous month. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport received a total of 34,315 complaints, including 7,411 requests for the extension of Gimpo-Gomdan Line 5 and 430 requests for the selection of the GTX station in Seo-gu, Incheon. This represents an 82.7% increase compared to the previous month.
