Gyeongnam Nonghyup and Changshin University signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for Social Contribution Activities and Activation of Rural Workforce Support" on the 10th at the conference room of Changshin University.
About 10 officials attended with the purpose of expanding social contribution and resolving the rural labor shortage. They promised mutual cooperation for rural support and development, including ▲recognition of volunteer hours for students participating in rural labor assistance ▲support for expenses and university development funds necessary for rural labor assistance ▲talent donation volunteer activities by university students.

President Lee Won-geun said, "With the shortage of rural labor during the busy farming season due to aging and a decrease in the youth population, we will do our best so that students and faculty members can be of help."
Director Kim Ju-yang said, "We expect the participation of Changshin University students to be a great help in solving the rural labor shortage problem," and added, "Gyeongnam Nonghyup will do its best to assist vulnerable and small-scale farms during the farming season in cooperation with Changshin University."
