Daehan Flour Mills is changing the manufacturer of 'Gompyo Wheat Beer' after three years.
According to Daehan Flour Mills on the 10th, the contract for trademark use with the previous manufacturer, SevenBrew, ended last month, and a new manufacturer will be selected. Daehan Flour Mills plans to collaborate with a craft beer company to launch 'Gompyo Wheat Beer Season 2' this summer.
Gompyo Wheat Beer is a product utilizing the long-standing brand 'Gompyo' and has sold over 50 million cans since its release in May 2020. A Daehan Flour Mills official stated, "We plan to expand the customer experience with a new partner so that customers can enjoy newer and more diverse flavors."
Meanwhile, following the end of the trademark use contract, SevenBrew changed the name of Gompyo Wheat Beer to 'Daepyo Wheat Beer.' Starting with Daepyo Wheat Beer, SevenBrew plans to release various products under the 'Daepyo' brand and expand its product lineup to include non-alcoholic beer and RTD (Ready to Drink) beverages.
