Through this agreement, both institutions agreed to cooperate in ▲active exchanges in the field of health and medical care ▲contributing to the promotion of citizens' health ▲creating new opportunities through the establishment of a medical industrial complex ▲joint research and academic activities.

Officials from Yanji City highly evaluated Gangnam Bedro Hospital's excellent treatment and diverse rehabilitation systems, noting their rich experience in bilateral artificial disc replacement surgery and the patent application for a "customized special artificial disc" tailored to the body types of Asians.

Wang Shengsheng, Vice Mayor of Yanji City, said, "We hope to actively incorporate Gangnam Bedro Hospital's excellent treatment system and know-how into the newly established medical health industrial complex in Yanji City," adding, "We look forward to mutual close cooperation and joint development."

Yoon Kang-jun, CEO of Gangnam Bedro Hospital, stated, "We have signed this business agreement in recognition of our experience and know-how in researching pain-free and relapse-free treatments for degenerative diseases such as spinal stenosis and herniated discs," emphasizing, "I feel a responsibility to promote the excellence of 'K-Medical' to the global market. We will do our best to advise on the establishment of the medical system in the Yanji City medical industrial complex and to promote the health of its citizens."

Gangnam Bedro Hospital, an international training institution for artificial disc specialists, established a sister hospital relationship with a hospital in Hunchun City, China, in 2004 and has conducted medical service exchanges. In May of last year, it opened an international spine specialist education center, providing training in bilateral spinal endoscopic surgery to spine doctors from global countries including Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia.
