363 Decrease Compared to Previous Day
As the COVID-19 outbreak subsides, 10,372 new cases were reported on the 8th.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on this day, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased by 10,372. This is 363 fewer than the previous day (10,735). The cumulative number of confirmed cases stands at 30,904,502.

Compared to one week ago on the 1st (10,523), the number is 151 fewer, and compared to two weeks ago on the 25th of last month (10,446), it is 74 fewer.
The average daily number of confirmed cases over the past week from the 1st to this day is 10,725. The daily new confirmed cases were 9,720 → 4,348 → 13,366 → 14,459 → 12,080 → 10,735 → 10,372.
Among the new confirmed cases, 12 were imported from overseas, and 10,360 were domestic community infections.

The number of deaths reported the previous day was 4, which is 5 fewer than the day before. The cumulative number of deaths is 34,322, and the cumulative fatality rate is 0.11%.
