The Dongmyung University Shooting Team recently won a total of 7 medals?1 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze?at the 5th Changwon Mayor's Cup National Shooting Competition.
In the rapid-fire pistol individual event, athlete Jeong Yoon-jong won the gold medal, and in the air pistol team event, Jeong Yoon-jong, Jo Won-jun, Hyun Jae-yoon, and Kim Hyun-soo received the silver medal.
In the air pistol individual event, Jeong Yoon-jong earned the silver medal, and Hyun Jae-yoon took home the bronze medal.
In the 50m team event, Jo Won-jun, Kim Dong-joo, Hyun Jae-yoon, and Son Sang-woo won the bronze medal; in the 50m individual event, Jo Won-jun won the silver medal; and in the standard pistol team event, Park Jin-hong, Choi Seok-hoon, Jeong Yoon-jong, and Son Sang-woo secured the bronze medal.

President Jeon Ho-hwan praised the athletes, saying, “I am proud of the players who have elevated the university’s prestige,” and added, “The shooting team, which practices challenge and experience through sports, is truly a model of Do-ing talent.”
The competition was held over seven days from March 29 to April 4 at the Changwon International Shooting Range.
