Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) has added soil concrete walking paths so that visitors to Sky Flower Garden can enjoy a light stroll and appreciate various flowers, celebrating the first spring without masks in four years since the COVID-19 outbreak.

Additionally, around the walking paths, charming installations such as insect models, metal sculptures, and various lettering provide visual interest. Convenient facilities including restrooms, observatories, rest shelters, and parking lots are fully equipped to ensure a comfortable experience for park visitors.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “I hope residents can have a relaxing and healing time in Sky Flower Garden, where flowers bloom and fade from spring to autumn.”

Jung-gu, Spring Flowers Blooming on Every Street

Jung-gu (Mayor Kim Gil-seong) has adorned the streets with spring flowers to bring vibrant spring energy to residents' daily lives.

The district started by installing street flower pots filled with abundant spring flowers along Jeongdong-gil and Majang-ro 9-gil, decorating green belts, strip green spaces, and village yards with diverse flowers so residents can enjoy spring anywhere.

Last autumn, 149,200 bulbs including tulips and daffodils were planted in parks, village yards, and traffic islands, and they have begun to bloom, promising a floral feast throughout the streets this spring.

Furthermore, by the end of April, 737 hanging flower pots will be installed along major routes such as Toegye-ro and Dasan-ro, and 10 themed flower beds with different planting patterns according to green space types will be created, filling the streets with colorful flowers.

Kim Gil-seong, Mayor of Jung-gu, said, “I hope everyone enjoys the returning spring while walking along the flower-lined streets of Jung-gu. We will continue to plant abundant flowers throughout Jung-gu all year round so that the seasonal atmosphere flows through the urban forest and reaches residents' daily lives.”
