Next Month's Sales of Imported Grapes and New Blueberry Varieties
Lotte Mart announced on the 7th that it has launched the ‘Giant Eureka Blueberry’ and ‘Golden Sweetness Orange’ in line with the small luxury trend.
The Giant Eureka Blueberry is the first domestically produced blueberry product introduced by a large supermarket. This product measures over 20mm in size, which is more than 40% larger than the standard blueberry size of 14mm. Since January this year, the fruit team merchandiser (MD) at Lotte Mart has been visiting nine farms in Gimhae every week, communicating directly with local farmers and preparing about 10 tons of supply.

The Golden Sweetness Orange is a high-sweetness orange with a sugar content of over 14 Brix, approximately 30% higher than the typical orange sweetness of 11 Brix. It is a premium product carefully selected using a non-destructive sugar content sorter at Lotte’s Fresh Quality Innovation Center. To revitalize the premium fruit market, Lotte Mart plans to introduce imported grapes and new blueberry varieties starting next month.
A Lotte Mart representative said, "We hope customers enjoy the larger and sweeter Giant Eureka Blueberry and Golden Sweetness Orange,” adding, “We will continue to develop high-sweetness and premium products to satisfy customers who want to enjoy small luxury."
