Gyeongnam Jeongbodae Hair Design Department Selected for 'University Student Volunteer Contest'

The major club 'Gawison' of the Hair Design Department at Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Dae-sik) is offering hairdressing talent donations to local elderly residents.

Gyeongnam Information University announced on the 5th that the major club 'Gawison' was recently selected for the '9th Communication Link University Student Volunteer Contest' organized by the Busan Volunteer Center and the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters to provide hairdressing talent donations to local elderly people, and will start volunteer activities linked to their major for one year.

The Hair Design Department at Gyeongnam Information University operates various major-related clubs to enhance students' capabilities.

They also run employment-guaranteed customized education and contract departments in collaboration with famous domestic hair brands such as Hwajimju Hair, Juno Hair, Park Seung-chul Hair Studio, ID Hair, and Richard Pro Hair, operating on-site integrated brand classes that guarantee students' employment.

Yoo Eun-joo, head of the Hair Design Department at Gyeongnam Information University, said, “Since 2005, we have been conducting beauty volunteer activities in the local community for 18 years with our students,” adding, “We will do our best to guide students so that they can grow into beauty talents equipped with both character and skills through talent donations related to their major.”
