Top-Tier Construction Company + Luxury Hotel Management Expertise... 'Inscape Yangyang by Parnas' Draws Attention [Inscape Yangyang by Parnas Rendering]

As COVID-19 restrictions have recently eased in Gangwon-do, the number of tourists has surged, leading to a significant increase in demand for accommodation facilities to accommodate these visitors. Consequently, major tourist destinations in Gangwon-do are attracting attention with the supply of lodging facilities that combine both marketability and strong brand value.

According to an analysis of tourism trends based on KT telecommunications big data conducted by Gangwon-do and the Gangwon Tourism Foundation, the number of tourists visiting Gangwon-do in 2022 was approximately 153.45 million, similar to the pre-COVID year of 2019. This represents a 17.8% increase compared to 2021 and was the highest growth rate among the 17 provinces and metropolitan cities nationwide.

The number of visitors to Gangwon-do continued to rise in 2023. As of February 2023, the total number of visitors to Gangwon-do was 11,183,756, an increase of about 15% (approximately 1.49 million) compared to the same month the previous year. Notably, foreign tourists in February 2023 increased by 46% year-on-year due to simplified entry procedures such as the abolition of mandatory PCR tests upon arrival and the reinstatement of visa-free entry.

Among the areas gaining the most attention amid the rising tourism demand in Gangwon-do is Yangyang-gun. Yangyang is easily accessible from Seoul and the metropolitan area via the Seoul?Yangyang Expressway and is recognized as a new retro tourist destination with various attractions and activities such as Naksan Beach, Naksansa Temple, surfing, and yachting.

With the influx of tourists, the supply of accommodation facilities to host them is also accelerating. Since the lifting of restrictions on Naksan Provincial Park in Yangyang, various lodging facilities have been supplied, with particular interest in accommodations constructed by reputable builders and operated with solid expertise.

Located right in front of Naksan Beach, a famous sunrise spot in Yangyang, the residential lodging facility ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ is currently being offered for sale. ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ is operated as a luxury hotel through a collaboration between the operator Parnas Hotel Co., Ltd. and the construction company Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.

Parnas Hotel Co., Ltd. is a hotel specialist company with over 30 years of hotel management know-how and service experience, owning and operating the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX located in Samseong-dong, Seoul. The construction is handled by Daewoo Engineering & Construction, which has a track record of various domestic and international hotel projects including Sheraton Grand Incheon Hotel, Seoul Dragon City, Novotel Ambassador Dongdaemun, and Hanoi Daewoo Hotel.

The brand value and solid marketability of ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ are expected to play an important role. For example, last year, ‘Shilla Monogram Gangneung’ supplied in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, constructed by Taeyoung Construction and operated by Shilla HM, attracted attention and sold out within three months of its launch.

‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ consists of one building with 393 residential lodging units spanning from 7 basement floors to 39 above-ground floors. It offers a variety of 21 different unit types ranging from 37 to 151 square meters, broadening the choices for potential buyers.

Standing 174.6 meters tall with 39 floors above ground, ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ is the tallest building in Gangwon-do. The rooftop lounge on the 39th floor is designed to offer panoramic ocean and mountain views from the highest building in the region.

The 16th floor houses amenities including an outdoor infinity pool, indoor pool, poolside bar, private cabanas, and a fitness center. Particularly, the rooftop lounge features a ‘Glass Edge’ with a protruding glass floor inspired by New York’s Hudson Yards Edge, allowing visitors to enjoy a thrilling view beneath their feet. This is expected to become a ‘hip place’ on the East Coast. Its proximity to the beach also allows guests to head straight to the shore in swimwear or beachwear.

Additionally, ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ offers contract holders 30 days of free accommodation annually and provides profit sharing from hotel operations, lodging, and investment returns simultaneously, maximizing the contract holders’ earnings.

Improved transportation infrastructure is another advantage. The East-West High-Speed Railway, which began construction last year and is scheduled to open in 2027, will reduce travel time from Seoul Yongsan to Sokcho to about 1 hour and 30 minutes, making access from Seoul and the metropolitan area more convenient. Furthermore, once the ‘Donghae Line’ railway connecting Busan Station to Goseong Jejin Station is completed, it is expected to become the central route for East Coast coastal travel with scenic ocean views.

Meanwhile, ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ operates a sales gallery, which can be visited by appointment in advance.
