Uljin-gun to Host 'Differentiated Tourism' Good Morning Thursday Special Lecture in April

Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Son Byeong-bok) will hold the Uljin-gun Good Morning Thursday Special Lectures in April, following March.

The Uljin-gun Good Morning Thursday Special Lectures select one theme each month and invite experts from various fields to study on Thursday mornings. The sessions are held for 90 minutes from 7:20 AM and are open to all residents and public officials.


The theme for the April Good Morning Thursday Special Lectures is "Differentiated Tourism," with a total of two lectures prepared.


On April 6, Professor Jeong Ransu from Hanyang University will present "2023 Tourism Trend Changes and Activation Plans for Uljin Tourism," and on April 13, Director In Jae-jin of the Jaraseom Festival will speak on the theme "Connections and Coincidences, Life as a Festival."


The "Uljin-gun Good Morning Thursday Special Lectures" can be rewatched through the county's official YouTube channel.


Governor Son Byeong-bok stated, "Just as we found various ways to develop Uljin-gun's agriculture through the first theme lecture in March, 'The Great Agricultural Transformation of Uljin,' I hope this April's themed lecture on 'Differentiated Tourism' will serve as a stepping stone toward achieving 10 million tourists in Uljin-gun." He added, "Useful and substantial lectures in the tourism field are prepared, so we ask for your great interest and participation."


The May Good Morning Thursday Special Lecture is scheduled with the theme "Urban Planning, Turning Imagination into Reality!" and any Uljin-gun resident can attend the lecture on the day without prior registration.
