‘KPGA handsome man’ Ok Tae-hoon (center) has found a reliable sponsor.
Shilla Asset Management signed a sub-sponsorship contract with Ok Tae-hoon on the 4th. He will participate in the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Korean Tour wearing a Shilla Asset Management patch on the right side of his golf wear. He will also receive asset management support through Shilla Asset Management.
Ok Tae-hoon said, "Last year, I achieved good results both domestically and internationally, including winning on the Asian Tour," and added, "I will work harder this year to become a representative player of Korea." CEO Choi Moon-ho said, "We focused on Ok Tae-hoon’s growing skills and star potential every year," and promised, "As Shilla Asset Management’s first golf player sponsorship, we will actively support him."
Ok Tae-hoon is a promising Korean male golfer who served as a national team reserve in 2015 and won the Sports Toto Amateur Award at the KPGA Awards Ceremony the same year. Last year, he recorded his first career victory at the Asian Tour International Series Korea tournament. He also entered the ‘Top 10’ in six Korean Tour events, ranking 11th in the KPGA Genesis Points.
