This hiring process is to fill the vacancy left by Yesanggyun, the Chief Prosecutor of the Public Prosecution Department (Judicial Research and Training Institute Class 30), who retired on the 28th of last month.

The current number of prosecutors at Gong-su-cheo is 22, which is 3 fewer than the authorized 25 positions (2 prosecutors and 1 chief prosecutor). The application period is from the 7th to the 17th. Afterward, candidates will go through document screening, interviews, and recommendations by the personnel committee, with the president making the final appointment. Applicants must have held a lawyer's license for at least 12 years as of the recruitment announcement date.
Kim Jin-wook, head of Gong-su-cheo, stated, "In the previous recruitment, many candidates had experience in special investigations at the prosecution," adding, "This time, we hope that those with extensive experience in public security investigations or former judges will apply."
