Cheongsong-gun, Youth Participation Organization Launch Ceremony ... Leading 'Advancement of Rights'

On the 1st, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held the 2023 Cheongsong-gun Youth Participation Organization (Youth Participation Committee and Youth Operating Committee) inauguration ceremony.

Cheongsong-gun held the inauguration ceremony for the youth participation organization.

The Youth Participation Organization consists of the Youth Participation Committee, which proposes and discovers youth-related policies, and the Youth Operating Committee, which directly participates in the operation of the youth training center and the consultation and evaluation of youth programs. From March 8 to 17, a total of 44 members were selected through an open recruitment process: 24 Youth Participation Committee members and 20 Youth Operating Committee members.

The inauguration ceremony included the introduction of the Youth Participation Organization members, the presentation of appointment letters, education on the roles and understanding of the Youth Participation Organization, and the establishment of the annual activity plan for the Youth Participation Organization.

Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, "I hope the Youth Participation Organization will represent the youth of Cheongsong-gun and raise various voices to promote the rights and interests of young people," adding, "We will continue to do our best to support diverse youth activities."
