Emart to Close Doors at 10 PM Starting Today

All Stores Nationwide Close at 10 PM
Wangsimni, Jayang, Yongsan, and Sinchon Branches Open Until 10:30 PM

Emart announced that starting from the 3rd, it will adjust the closing time of its nationwide stores from the previous 11 PM to 10 PM. This measure comes as the proportion of customers visiting stores at night has decreased, while the proportion during peak hours has increased.

Among Emart's 136 stores nationwide, 23 stores had been operating from 10 AM to 10 PM since before December last year, and due to the winter season, an additional 43 stores adjusted their closing time from 11 PM to 10 PM from December last year to February this year. These 66 stores will continue to close at 10 PM. Additionally, the remaining stores that used to close at 11 PM have also adjusted their operating hours to 10 PM starting from this day.

However, four stores with many nighttime visitors and high foot traffic?Wangsimni, Jayang, Yongsan, and Sinchon?will operate until 10:30 PM.

On the morning of the 3rd, a notice informing about the adjustment of business hours is being installed at Emart Wolgye branch.
