Musical actor Park Sang-jun received the Grand Prize at the '2023 Korea Global Crown Awards.'
Park Sang-jun was awarded the Grand Prize in the Culture category at the '2023 Korea Global Crown Awards' ceremony held on the 31st of last month at the National Assembly small conference room in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The Global Crown Awards ceremony is sponsored by the National Assembly Society, the National Assembly Press Corps Association, and the Yeojeong Forum (a free forum researching ruling party policies), and hosted and organized by Global News Communication. It honors a total of 48 individuals selected across eight fields including culture, education, society, healthcare, economy, local government, international affairs, and politics for their contributions.
Park Sang-jun debuted in 2020 as Marius in the play Les Mis?rables and has appeared in musicals such as Rent a Tenor, Song of the Sun, Agatha, and Bear the Musical.
Park Sang-jun said, "Following my Best Actor award in the musical category at the 2022 Hallyu Culture Awards, receiving the Grand Prize at the 2023 Korea Global Crown Awards is a great honor," and added, "As an actor, I will communicate with audiences through good works and become a good person and actor who positively influences others through my acting."
He continued, "I want to be a good person and actor who positively influences others through my acting," and added, "I will not be satisfied with small achievements and, as a professional actor who does not forget his original intention, I will continue steady activities with an actor’s attitude."
Park Sang-jun is currently active playing the role of Leon in the musical Robin.
