The first meeting will be held on the morning of the 3rd at the National Assembly, chaired by Party Leader Kim Gi-hyeon. They plan to discuss the initial tasks, the formation of subcommittees considering the expertise of the members, and an activity roadmap.
After the meeting, everyone will have lunch together with convenience store lunch boxes. The special committee explained, "We plan to share various opinions on social phenomena caused by global economic recession and rising prices, difficulties faced by self-employed individuals, and ways to alleviate the burden on the public. We also considered that consumers such as office workers and students are turning to convenience store lunch boxes due to price increases, and that each convenience store has established food research centers and even employs hotel chefs for research."
The special committee also emphasized, "We will focus on carefully examining even the smallest aspects related to livelihood and proposing practical measures so that legislative and institutional actions can follow. To this end, we will also conduct field meetings, search for key figures related to livelihood, and listen to expert opinions."
Minsaeng119, chaired by Supreme Council Member Jo Su-jin, is the first in-party special committee launched under the leadership of Party Leader Kim Gi-hyeon.
