The 2023 Seoul Mobility Show, which opened on the 31st of last month and welcomed its first weekend, was tentatively reported by the event organizing committee on the 2nd to have attracted around 190,000 visitors over three days.
The Seoul Mobility Show is the only international exhibition in Korea accredited by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles (OICA). It began in 1995 and is held biennially, alternating with the Busan International Motor Show, making it the largest mobility industry exhibition in the country. This year, 163 companies and organizations from 12 countries worldwide participated.
On the 2nd, at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show is taking place. Visitors at the Mercedes-Benz booth are examining the exhibited vehicles. Visitors can experience a variety of mobility-related products and technologies, including automobiles, Urban Air Mobility (UAM), drones, and electric scooters. Recognized for its symbolic status as a leading domestic exhibition, it was recently selected as one of the ‘K-Culture Tourism Events 100’ promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.
Inside the exhibition hall, newly unveiled vehicles making their world debut include Kia’s electric SUV EV9, KG Mobility’s new electric car Torres EVX, Sonata The Edge, and Wolf. The Derivon 60 by Ghost Robotics Technology and Tesla’s humanoid robot Tesla Bot also attracted significant attention.
On the 2nd, at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show is taking place. The Ghost Robotics The Vision 60 is roaming the exhibition hall, guiding visitors on entry times. Additionally, the event featured e-mobility test drives where visitors could try personal mobility devices, electric bikes, and electric bicycles, as well as traffic safety experience events. Car test drive events hosted by complete vehicle brands such as Renault Korea Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Genesis also drew considerable interest.
The event is being held at Hall 1 of KINTEX in Goyang until the 9th. Viewing hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and until 6 p.m. on weekends.
