Kim Yo-jong, Deputy Director of the Workers' Party of Korea, strongly criticized Ukraine, which is at war with Russia, for being obsessed with "nuclear delusions" such as the introduction of American nuclear weapons and its own nuclear development, thereby bringing about a "nuclear catastrophe."
On the 1st, Deputy Director Kim stated in a statement released through the Korean Central News Agency, "If the Zelensky authorities have calculated that they can only avoid Russia's powerful firestorm by entering under the already perforated American nuclear umbrella, they are undoubtedly on the wrong path, the final path."
Deputy Director Kim said, "It is already well known that Zelensky expressed his intention to restore his country's status as a nuclear power at the Munich Security Conference in February this year, and that official figures of Ukraine have openly revealed their nuclear ambitions on several occasions."
President Zelensky called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council to discuss the implementation of the 'Budapest Memorandum' in his speech at last year's Munich Security Conference. In December 1994, Ukraine signed the 'Budapest Memorandum' with the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, and others, agreeing to give up nuclear weapons in exchange for guarantees of territorial stability and independent sovereignty.
Deputy Director Kim criticized, "The Ukrainian authorities, suffering from an incurable grandiose delusion that they can defeat Russia, are bringing about a nuclear catastrophe that threatens their own survival without even the most basic awareness to foresee the aftermath or any ability to bear the consequences."
She continued, "Zelensky's talk about the introduction of American nuclear weapons and his own nuclear development is a manifestation of a very dangerous political ambition to gamble with the fate of his country and people in order to somehow prolong his own life."
Deputy Director Kim mocked the Zelensky authorities, saying, "They are chanting prayers of begging and solicitation," and added, "They were never a match for Russia from the start, and if they persist in their nuclear delusions as they do now, they will become a clearer target within Russia's nuclear targeting range."
Furthermore, Deputy Director Kim emphasized, "Those who worship the United States like a grandfather and blindly trust the weak promises of their master must clearly understand that awakening from the self-destructive nuclear delusions of hanging a nuclear time bomb on their backs as soon as possible is the best choice to save their own lives."
