Group 'BTS' member Jimin (28, Park Jimin) has ranked first on Japan's Oricon 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking' with his first solo album 'FACE'.
According to the latest chart announced by Oricon on the 31st (dated April 3 / tracking period March 20?26), Jimin's 'FACE', released on the 24th, earned 231,501 weekly points, topping the 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking'.
'FACE' recorded the highest first-week sales (CD) of 225,000 copies for a solo artist album this year, also securing the number one spot on the 'Weekly Album Ranking' (dated April 3). With high weekly points, it also claimed first place on the 'Combined Album Ranking'.
Jimin's 'FACE' has been sweeping the Oricon charts since its release. Starting with number one on the 'Daily Album Ranking' on the release day, it also debuted on the 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking' (dated April 3), immediately reaching the top.
With this, Jimin achieved consecutive number one positions on the 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking', 'Weekly Album Ranking', and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking', winning the Oricon 'Weekly Music Ranking' triple crown. Jimin is the first solo artist this year to achieve the Oricon 'Weekly Music Ranking' triple crown.
