Shinyoung Construction Changes Company Name to 'Shinyoung C&D' After 9 Years

Shinyoung Group announced on the 31st that its construction affiliate Shinyoung Construction has changed its name to 'Shinyoung C&D.'

Shinyoung C&D started as Samhwa Office in 1958 and was incorporated into Shinyoung Group affiliates in 2007 under the name Shinyoung Dongseong Co., Ltd. It has adopted a new name nine years after changing to Shinyoung Construction.

C&D is a compound of C (Construction), meaning construction, and D (Development), symbolizing the developer mindset leading real estate development projects. The company explained that the name reflects its vision to become a developer-type comprehensive construction company capable of competing with leading construction firms.

Kim Hak-jin, CEO of Shinyoung C&D, stated, “Although the market situation is unfavorable, we changed our name and relocated our office to enhance our internal and external image and renew the atmosphere. We will do our best to grow into a performance-driven organization, strengthen corporate capabilities, and achieve sustainable growth.”
