Busan Facilities Corporation will operate the ‘Open Leisure Culture Class’ starting in April to promote leisure and health for visitors to Busan Citizens Park.
The ‘Open Leisure Culture Class’ serves as a cultural learning space in daily life through the voluntary participation of residents near Busan Citizens Park.
The culture classes consist of lifestyle health exercises for health promotion, natural meditation yoga classes, and leisure culture expansion activities such as ocarina and line dance.
The ocarina class will be held every Monday, line dance every Tuesday, and natural meditation yoga every Thursday at 3 PM on the Pororo outdoor stage starting in April.
The ‘Lifestyle Health Exercise’ has been held since the 20th every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:30 PM on the Fragrant Forest outdoor stage. The classes are conducted outdoors to utilize the characteristics of the park.
Any interested citizen can freely participate in comfortable clothing without special preparations. However, participants in the ocarina class must bring their own instruments.
Park In-ho, Acting Director, said, “The park is a daily leisure culture playground,” and added, “We hope many people will take an interest in the ‘Open Leisure Culture Class,’ where you can take care of your health and enjoy culture during your free time.”
