The city received overall high scores in three categories: driving behavior (8 indicators including seatbelt usage rate), pedestrian behavior (3 indicators including pedestrian crosswalk signal compliance rate), and traffic safety (7 indicators including securing traffic safety expertise).

In particular, Miryang excelled compared to other local governments of similar size in areas such as drunk driving incidence, securing traffic safety expertise, and efforts to secure traffic safety budgets. Compliance rates and improvements from the previous year were also high for crosswalk stop line adherence and seatbelt usage rates.
