Namwon City in Jeonbuk announced on the 30th that it will begin recruiting candidates for a management consulting support project aimed at fostering young entrepreneurs and small business owners starting this month.
The consulting covers areas such as marketing, management diagnosis, store operations, and overall startup processes, and is conducted through one-on-one training with professional consultants.

If the candidates complete the consulting training and start a business, the city will provide up to 50 million KRW in special financial guarantees and a 3% interest subsidy for three years.
The support targets young people aged 19 to 39 who have an address in the city, and young entrepreneurs who are already running a business can also receive consulting training support.
In the first year of implementation, the city aims to recruit about 10 candidates, but plans to expand the number depending on the application situation.
A city official said, “In the future, we will continue to create a foundation where young talents in the local community can actively realize their dreams and reside in their hometown by supporting not only employment but also small-scale startups that suit their aptitudes.”
