Hana Bank is launching a savings product with a maturity period as short as one month.
Hana Bank announced on the 30th that it will relaunch the 'Hana Timing Savings' as an ultra-short-term savings product, available from the 7th of next month.
'Hana Timing Savings' allows customers to accumulate savings by touching a dedicated deposit button like playing a game, with the amount set by the customer (10 to 5,000 KRW), and offers preferential interest rates based on the number of touches.
The subscription amount ranges from a minimum of 1,000 KRW to a maximum of 500,000 KRW. The monthly maximum deposit limit is 650,000 KRW, including up to 150,000 KRW via the timing button deposits. The maturity period ranges from a minimum of 1 month to 6 months, and the interest rate is a basic rate of 2.95% per annum, with preferential rates applied up to a maximum of 3.95% per annum (before tax).
The preferential interest rates include ▲up to 0.8% for timing button deposits (40 or more cumulative deposits before maturity) ▲0.1% for automatic transfer registration ▲0.1% for friend referrals or reinvestment benefits. Additionally, reinvestment is possible up to 5 times.
To celebrate the product relaunch, the event 'Have Fun This Spring, It's Timing' will run until the end of May. During this period, customers who newly subscribe to Hana Timing Savings, Hana’s fixed deposits, or the Housing Subscription Savings through 'Hana One Q' will be entered into a draw to win various prizes, including ▲3 million Hana Money travel support (1 winner) ▲50,000 KRW Yanolja mobile gift certificates (200 winners) ▲50,000 KRW Shinsegae Department Store gift certificates (200 winners) ▲50,000 KRW Baedal Minjok mobile gift certificates (200 winners).
Additionally, 30,000 customers who subscribe to 'Hana Timing Savings' through ‘Hana One Q’ will be eligible for daily coffee coupon draws.
