4 Months After Last December's Auction
Seller: "Suitable for Collectors and Investors
If You Keep It, It Will Be Worth 10 Billion Won Someday"
A vehicle previously driven by BTS member Jungkook has reappeared on the market just four months after being auctioned off for 1.2 billion KRW last December.
There are no defects with the vehicle; it is reported that the person who won the auction last year is selling it again due to urgent financial needs.

On the 29th, a ‘Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG Edition’ was listed on the used car trading site BobaeDream’s online store. The vehicle description reads, "The only one in the world, auction price 1.2 billion KRW, BTS Jungkook’s G-Wagen."
The vehicle made headlines when it appeared at the Seoul Auction last December.
It is a 2nd generation G-Wagen, sold as a limited edition ‘Edition’ trim at 239.6 million KRW when first released in Korea. Jungkook purchased it under his name in September 2019, owned it for over two years, and then transferred it to a collector. The auction starting price was 150 million KRW, but it was ultimately sold for 1.2 billion KRW.
Dealer Kim, who listed the vehicle on BobaeDream, told Chosun.com in a phone interview, "I am the current owner of the vehicle, and the person who requested the sale is the winner of last year’s auction." Kim added, "Since the vehicle has not been driven after delivery and has only been kept as is, its condition is the same as it was at the auction."
In the sales post, Kim explained, "The vehicle is preserved exactly as Jungkook drove it and is in very clean condition, but it shows traces of Jungkook’s actual use, including the Brabus exhaust system that he personally customized." He added, "This is not a typical listing, so it is suitable for BTS fans, collectors, or those approaching it as an investment."
When asked why the vehicle is being sold again shortly after acquisition, Kim said, "The owner believes that if they keep it, its value could someday reach 5 billion or 10 billion KRW. However, due to recent financial difficulties, they decided to sell it."
Unlike other listings that display exact prices, this vehicle is marked as ‘Price Negotiable.’ Kim stated, "The owner wants to resell it at the price they originally paid."
Kim emphasized, "It is a collectible that fans, art collectors, or private investors can later submit to overseas auctions or reinvest in." As proof, he posted photos of the vehicle registration certificate under Jungkook’s name and notarized documents received at the auction.
Meanwhile, BTS-related items always attract attention in the auction market. In February 2021, a music video outfit donated by BTS for charity auction sold for nearly 200 million KRW.
In June 2021, McDonald’s partnered with BTS to release a BTS set menu, and a single Chicken McNugget from this menu was auctioned online for over 100 million KRW.
