Park Min-ji has stepped up to help her neighbors.

The Korean Red Cross announced on the 29th that "Park Min-ji donated 5 million won to support youth preparing for independence (children aging out of care)." The donation will be used for subscription savings account support and mentoring programs to address housing issues and provide emotional support for these youth.

Park Min-ji recently won six tournaments each year for two consecutive years on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, earning her the titles of leading winner and top money earner. With a total of 16 wins on the KLPGA Tour, she ranks 4th all-time in wins, following the late Ku Ok-hee and Shin Ji-ae, who each have 20 wins, and Ko Woo-soon with 17 wins, making her the active player with the most victories.

Not only is Park Min-ji an outstanding golfer, but she is also deeply involved in sharing and giving back, serving as a public ambassador for the Korean Red Cross. At last year’s KLPGA Awards Ceremony, she expressed her gratitude by saying, "I will live a life that helps many people."

In addition to Park Min-ji, Kim Jae-hee, Song Ga-eun, and Jang Ha-na also donated funds to support youth preparing for independence. The Korean Red Cross provides tailored support through emergency assistance programs for these youth starting their independent lives, covering housing, livelihood, medical care, and education.
