Shareholders' Meeting Held on the 29th
Hanmi Group, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, held a shareholders' meeting and announced on the 29th that Park Jae-hyun, Head of Manufacturing, has been appointed as the new CEO of Hanmi Pharm.
On the morning of the same day, Hanmi Group held shareholders' meetings for its holding company Hanmi Science and Hanmi Pharm at its headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
At the 13th regular shareholders' meeting of Hanmi Pharm, the company reported its business performance, including sales of 1.3315 trillion KRW, operating profit of 158.1 billion KRW, and net profit of 101.6 billion KRW for the previous year. Additionally, key agenda items such as the appointment of inside directors Park Jae-hyun (Head of Manufacturing), Seo Gui-hyun (Head of R&D Center), Park Myung-hee (Head of Domestic Business Division), and outside directors Yoon Young-gak, Yoon Do-heum, and Kim Tae-yoon were approved. A Hanmi Pharm official stated, "In the interest of promoting a culture of gender equality, a female division head was appointed as a registered director."
Following the shareholders' meeting, Hanmi Pharm held a board meeting and appointed Park Jae-hyun, Head of Manufacturing (Vice President), as the new CEO for this year. A Hanmi Pharm official explained, "With the resignation of the former CEO Woo Jong-soo, who had led Hanmi, the generational change in management was completed on the occasion of the 50th anniversary." Former CEO Woo will serve as an advisor to Hanmi Pharm alongside Lee Kwan-soon and Kwon Se-chang.
At the 50th regular shareholders' meeting of Hanmi Science, key business results were reported, including sales of 1.0461 trillion KRW, operating profit of 67.6 billion KRW, and net profit of 69 billion KRW for the previous year. The appointment of inside directors Song Young-sook (Chairman of Hanmi Group) and Park Joon-seok (Vice President of Healthcare Business Division) was also approved.
A Hanmi Group official said, "Marking the 50th anniversary, we aim to create a bold turning point for innovation through renewal and generational change," adding, "We will not rest on past achievements but will further develop Hanmi's creativity, innovation, and spirit of challenge to open a new future."
