Collaboration with Popular Bakery Scope
Lotte Department Store announced on the 30th that it will hold a British dessert pop-up store event at the premium lifestyle select shop 'The Conran Shop' from the 1st to the 23rd of next month.
This pop-up store will showcase over 20 types of British-style bakery items in collaboration with the popular bakery 'Scopewa'. Scope is a bakery run directly by a British chef and attracts more than 300 customers on weekdays and over 500 on weekends.
The main product is the British-style scone, with an average daily sales of 200 pieces and over 70,000 pieces sold annually. The pop-up store will also offer three limited Conran pop-up store menu items not sold at the main store. These products, available in limited quantities, include the soft-textured 'Conran Cream Scone', the sweet and savory 'Conran Brownie', and the 'Conran Victoria Cake' topped with strawberries.
Customers who purchase more than 100,000 KRW worth of pop-up store products will receive a coffee voucher. At The Conran Shop in the Gangnam branch, customers who spend over 300,000 KRW and 600,000 KRW will be given one and two 15,000 KRW vouchers respectively, usable at the Scope pop-up store, limited to the first 50 customers each day.
A Lotte Department Store official said, "This event, in collaboration with Scope, the most popular scone specialty bakery among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), will showcase the essence of British bakery." He added, "It will be a special opportunity to experience authentic British bread in an independent and private space called the VIP room."
