Galleria Department Store announced on the 30th that its VIP customer-exclusive wine curation service has gained great popularity and has established itself as a representative specialized service.
The wine curation service offers wines carefully selected by Galleria at reasonable prices. It is available to customers with a Park Jade Blue grade (annual purchase amount of 20 million KRW or more) or higher and is conducted on a first-come, first-served (paid) basis. The service has been held twice so far, and the third round will begin next month.

The first round of curation service applications was fully booked, resulting in the influx of about 500 new VIP customers who had not previously used Galleria’s wine store. In the second round, more than 60% of the first-round customers reapplied, showing great satisfaction. As a result, the number of VIP customers using Galleria’s wine store last year increased by 15% compared to the previous year.
The third round of the service will accept applications from 1,000 customers on a first-come, first-served basis from the 3rd to the 9th of next month. The service is provided once a month over two months, and the usage fee is 105,000 KRW. This price is approximately a 40% discount compared to the actual price of the wines provided. Customers who apply will receive three bottles of wine and one can of beer during the service period. Next month, the red wine “Prunotto & Antinori Barolo” from the Piemonte region of Italy and the American beer “Angry Chair Brewing Till Trouser” from Florida will be offered. The beer is imported in limited quantities and is being introduced for the first time in Korea. In May, the red wine “Mollydooker The Boxer” from the McLaren Vale region of Australia and the white wine “Invivo X Sarah Jessica Parker Marlborough” from the Marlborough region of New Zealand will be prepared.
