[Featured Stock] Hi-Vision System Rises 5% on 9.5 Billion Won Contract Win

On the 29th, Hi-Vision System's stock price showed a strong gain of over 5%. As of 10:15 AM, the stock was trading at 19,480 KRW, up 4.84% from the previous trading day.

It is interpreted that buying interest has flowed in as Hi-Vision System announced it had signed a contract worth approximately 9.5 billion KRW with Sebang Lithium Battery for a secondary battery production line (BMA).

The newly secured secondary battery production line comprehensively manages a package line that includes inspection equipment, which is Hi-Vision System's existing business area, as well as process and assembly equipment and automation facilities, making it even more significant, according to the company.

Choi Doo-won, CEO of Hi-Vision System, said, "It is encouraging that the results of the secondary battery business division, which we have been continuously striving for, are beginning to manifest in earnest," adding, "We will do our best to continue securing orders and growth through ongoing technology development and advancement."

Meanwhile, Hi-Vision System established a secondary battery team in August 2021 to pioneer new business in the secondary battery field, engaging in related research and development and securing clients. In January of this year, the company upgraded the team to the secondary battery office through organizational restructuring and is seeking continuous personnel expansion and business development.
