Golfzon Cultural Foundation Conducts 'Golfzon Neighbor Love Happiness Sharing' Sponsorship Project

Delivery of Daily Necessities Worth 18 Million Won to Underprivileged Local Communities

Golfzon Cultural Foundation announced on the 29th that it held the 'Golfzon Neighbor Love Happiness Sharing' sponsorship ceremony at Yuseong District Office in Daejeon Metropolitan City.


At this sponsorship ceremony, Golfzon Cultural Foundation delivered daily necessities kits worth approximately 18 million KRW to 450 underprivileged households in the Yuseong District of Daejeon. The Golfzon Neighbor Love Happiness Sharing sponsorship project, hosted by Golfzon Cultural Foundation and co-organized by local city and county offices and volunteer centers, is a social contribution activity that supports daily necessities to economically disadvantaged neighbors in the local community. This project has been carried out for three consecutive years. The beneficiary areas are divided into Daejeon and regions outside Daejeon (Namwon, Cheonan, Gumi, Jeju, Suncheon, etc.), and a total of daily necessities kits worth 180 million KRW will be delivered annually.

The sponsorship ceremony was held with the attendance of event officials including Kim Yoon-gil, Head of Business Division at Golfzon Joymaru, Jeong Yong-rae, Mayor of Yuseong District, Daejeon Metropolitan City, Gu Ja-haeng, Director of Daejeon Metropolitan City Volunteer Center, and Choi Hyun-jin, Director of Yuseong District Volunteer Center, Daejeon Metropolitan City. The daily necessities kits consisted of long shelf-life items (ready meals, instant cooking foods, etc.) and will be delivered to each household through the local city and county offices and volunteer centers.


Kim Young-chan, Chairman of Golfzon Cultural Foundation, said, "We hope to provide a small help with ready meals to many neighbors who are going through even more difficult times due to the economic downturn," and added, "We will continue such social contribution activities and contribute to creating a warm society where we live together."
