At an online shopping mall, a single cup of ramen was sold for 20,500 won, sparking outrage among netizens. Recently, similar cases have been frequently observed in online shopping malls, prompting consumers to be cautious.
On the 28th, a post titled "A New Type of Scam Anyone Can Fall For These Days" has been spreading across various online communities. Mr. A shared a screenshot of the cup ramen sales page, stating that he purchased one cup ramen for 20,500 won. The photo shows the product name "Keunsabal 112g Cup Ramen" and the price of 20,500 won.

After receiving the cup ramen delivery, Mr. A asked the shopping mall, "Is this the price for a single piece, not a box?" The company responded, "Yes, please check the detailed page."
When Mr. A pointed out that the round-trip shipping fee was also 10,000 won, making the delivery cost absurdly expensive, the company only replied, "We will forward this to the responsible department." Other users also left inquiries such as "Is this a 'catch one victim' scheme?" and "Why is the price like this?" but the company gave the same response.
He also confronted them by phone, but the company still said, "Since it does not state 'one box,' there is nothing we can do," or "We will forward this to the responsible department."
Mr. A lamented, "It's my fault for not looking carefully, but who would think this is the price for a single piece when it looks like a box price?" and added, "Even if I try to think of it as a donation, it keeps upsetting me."
According to the official online mall of the cup ramen manufacturer, the price for a single cup ramen is 1,650 won. Mr. A ended up buying one cup ramen at about 12 times the normal price. Usually, the cup ramen can be purchased as a box containing 16 pieces for just over 21,000 won.

Examples include selling a single cup ramen priced at 1,800 won for 27,400 won, or selling a box of 16 cup ramens for 83,600 won.
