Transbeverage Launches Wild Turkey 'Masters Keep Unforgotten'

Transbeverage announced on the 29th that it will release the American whiskey 'Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Unforgotten' exclusively in Korea.

Master’s Keep, meaning 'a collector's item for enthusiasts,' is Wild Turkey's top-tier lineup series produced in limited quantities each year. The newly released Master’s Keep Unforgotten is a blend of the finest raw spirits from rye whiskey and bourbon whiskey barrels. It is a product completed by blending 13-year aged Kentucky Straight Bourbon with 8 to 9-year aged rye whiskey, followed by secondary aging in rye oak barrels.

This blend originated from a mistake by a Wild Turkey distillery employee who mixed rye whiskey into a barrel containing bourbon whiskey. Upon tasting the whiskey accidentally mixed with rye and bourbon, Wild Turkey's master distiller Eddie Russell was amazed by the remarkable flavor and created 'Wild Turkey Forgiven,' a blend of rye and bourbon whiskeys. Over a decade later, with more refined blending techniques, he completed Master’s Keep Unforgotten.

Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Unforgotten will be sold from early April at liquor shops and some bars, with a volume of 750mL and an alcohol content of 52.5%.
