"My girlfriend wants to take a body profile... Is it okay if the entire shooting site is full of men?"

"Hands, Even When Covered by Poses, Expose All Important Areas"
Netizens Debate After Reading Boyfriend's Concerned Story

These days, 'body profile' photo shoots, where young people create toned physiques for photography, are trending. Amid this, a story of a man whose girlfriend is preparing for a body profile shoot has become a hot topic online on the 28th.

On the 26th, an online community post titled "My girlfriend is doing a body profile shoot, and it's nude" was uploaded. The writer, Mr. A, began by saying, "I don't work out very hard and have never had personal training (PT)."

Mr. A said, "My girlfriend started PT a few months ago to diet and even signed up for a body profile shoot," adding, "She showed me concept photos, and there were nude ones. The PT shop she goes to says everyone shoots like that, so I didn't think much of it, but I'm asking because I have questions."

He continued, "The photographer is male, and there is no one covering with cloth. The trainer is also male. The trainer goes with her that day to help with posing and pumping," he explained.

He then asked, "Even though it's nude, no matter how much hands or poses cover, isn't it true that the photographer and trainer see two important parts when my girlfriend changes poses? I have nowhere else to ask, so I would appreciate honest answers."

Netizens who read the story were shocked. They criticized not only the body profile itself but also the nude concept.

Netizens responded with comments such as, "They call it a body profile, but they completely strip and lie in places like bathtubs or beds, arching their waists and sticking out their hips. After seeing so many people's hips on SNS, it's not even surprising," "How can you trust and shoot that?" "Are you okay if nude photos leak?" "Body profiles seem like self-sexualization. Why pay money to take such photos?" "Men don't even shoot nude," and so on.

One netizen especially harshly criticized, "Body profiles are a curse created by SNS. People eat less and exercise for months to take photos, ruining their body cycles. Since it's not a body built from years of proper training, they even use Photoshop to create someone else and then say 'I worked hard then,' indulging in absurd self-satisfaction."

On the other hand, some netizens expressed supportive opinions, saying, "Why belittle someone else's hard work?" "There's no need to sexualize it," "It's just taking photos, what's the problem?" "I also want to work out hard and take nude photos at my best moment," "Just go with her," "It's something to try when you're young," and so forth.

Meanwhile, as the culture of body profile shoots spreads, the number of people complaining about health problems due to excessive exercise is gradually increasing. Medical experts advise that rather than rapid weight loss in a short period, consistent daily exercise and balanced nutrition intake are recommended.
