According to the university on the 28th, the contest has been held for 11 years since 2012 to alleviate the manpower shortage of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The contest aims to enhance the image of local SMEs by having job-seeking youth visit and investigate excellent local companies selected by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, create promotional materials for each company, and share them with others.
The Mokwon University student team, consisting of Song Bokyung and Lee Sumin (4th-year students) from the Department of Global Business, participated in the 'Outstanding Company Visit Review' category and introduced and analyzed Real Commerce Co., Ltd., an excellent company in the Daejeon area, winning the grand prize.
They proposed the introduction of an AI recommendation system, messenger system, and e-commerce reviews as future vision and growth strategies for Real Commerce.
Song Bokyung and Lee Sumin said, "Through the company visit, we gained a new perspective on local SMEs," and added, "We hope this information will be shared among many young people."
