Approval of Financial Statements, Partial Amendment of Articles of Incorporation, and 3 Other Agendas Passed

On the 28th, Hyundai Heavy Industries held the '4th Regular General Meeting of Shareholders' at Hanmaeum Hall in Dong-gu, Ulsan, and changed its company name to 'HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.'
At the shareholders' meeting, five agenda items were approved: ▲approval of financial statements ▲partial amendment of the articles of incorporation ▲appointment of directors ▲appointment of audit committee members ▲approval of the limit on directors' remuneration.
In the partial amendment of the articles of incorporation, the company name was changed from Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. to 'HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.' The new name is effective immediately from that day.
Following the group's official name change from Hyundai Heavy Industries Group to HD Hyundai at the end of last year, Hyundai Heavy Industries, the main company in the shipbuilding division, also added HD to its company name to align with the new group name.
On the same day, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries reappointed Vice Chairman Han Young-seok, whose term had expired, as an inside director, and Professor Chae Jun of Seoul National University Business School as an outside director.
Outside director Chae Jun was also reappointed as a member of the audit committee.
In his greeting, Lee Sang-kyun, President of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, said, "This year, based on a stable order volume, we will continuously challenge and innovate to achieve the shipbuilding business vision of HD Hyundai, 'Realizing the Infinite Potential of the Sea,' newly established."
