Gyeongnam Nonghyup "Let's Build a Desirable Rural Community Together"

Gyeongnam Nonghyup and the Gyeongsangnam-do Volunteer Center signed a "Business Agreement for Joint Efforts in Social Contribution Practice" on the 27th at the Gyeongnam Nonghyup conference room, with about 10 related personnel in attendance.


This agreement was made with the purpose of promoting the professionalism and activation of volunteer work and spreading a culture of social contribution based on the exchange and cooperation of human and material resources between the two organizations.


▲ Cooperation in social contribution such as urban-rural exchange and participation in rural volunteer activities ▲ Expansion of participation in various volunteer activities in the local community and linkage/support for demand organizations ▲ Provision of human and material infrastructure for volunteers and program proposals ▲ Mutual cooperation such as solidarity to overcome social crises such as disasters and accidents was promised.

Director Kim Juyang said, “Currently, our rural areas are facing the risk of extinction due to rapid aging and population decline, and to delay this rural extinction as much as possible, improving living conditions in rural areas is most necessary,” adding, “We will actively cooperate with the Gyeongsangnam-do Volunteer Center to revitalize rural areas at risk of extinction so that they become rural areas where people visit and want to live.”


Center Director Jeong Hoisuk said, “We will spare no effort in various active support and cooperation to deliver sharing and love to neighbors in need within the province and create a bright society,” and added, “We hope that smooth urban-rural exchange will be achieved through continuous mutual growth of the two organizations.”
