Chorokmaeul Sees 23% Increase in Morning Visitors Compared to Previous Month... Rise in 'Open-Run Shopping'

The number of visitors to Chorokmaeul, an organic specialty brand, in the morning has significantly increased.

According to Chorokmaeul on the 28th, the number of customers visiting over 380 stores nationwide during the morning hours (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.) from the 1st to the 27th of this month increased by 23% compared to the previous month. This is interpreted as a result of increased demand for early morning shopping due to the impact of the '365 Special Price' promotion launched earlier this month.

The 365 Special Price is an offline-exclusive promotion that selects a different item every day and offers a total of 365 special-priced products at unprecedented prices throughout the year. Since the designated special price product can be purchased at the lowest price of the year only on that single day, demand for early morning purchase to secure the item is believed to have surged. As a result, the number of morning customers in the first week of the launch increased by nearly 30% compared to the previous week.

Next month, a 'Spring Big Sale' event featuring the largest number of items ever is planned, which is expected to further increase the demand for morning shopping. The Big Sale event is the largest discount event in the first half of the year, offering up to 50% off on about 600 products. Fresh foods, mainly vegetables frequently purchased in daily life, will be featured in the 365 Special Price promotion.

A Chorokmaeul representative said, "Chorokmaeul is a neighborhood offline store where customers can visit daily without burden even during morning hours, and the number of customers purchasing more than twice a week has increased since the implementation of the 365 Special Price." They added, "Expecting early sell-outs, customers who come to buy special price products end up purchasing other items as well, naturally increasing the number of customers shopping in the morning."
