Additionally, the business of competitor Cobham has been reduced due to quality issues, further strengthening the company’s position in the global market.”
Researcher Sim explained, “Based on maritime satellite communication technology, the company is expanding its business area into the LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite communication market. LEO satellite communication is gaining attention as the next-generation communication method, being used not only in areas where existing terrestrial communication networks do not reach but also in places where terrestrial networks are already established, due to its high speed.”
Researcher Sim forecasted, “With the business launch of low earth orbit satellite communication companies such as Oneweb, SpaceX, and Amazon, the satellite communication service coverage area is expected to gradually expand from this year. Accordingly, the company, which has secured customers like Oneweb, is expected to continue benefiting.”
He added, “Along with the sales growth of maritime satellite communication antennas, the full-scale sales related to low earth orbit satellite communication, and the full reflection of the effects of the newly completed factory expansion in the fourth quarter of last year, significant performance growth is expected this year following last year.”
