Postal Worker Who Rescued Injured Citizen at Traffic Accident Scene 'Heartwarming'

According to a citizen who witnessed the accident on the 27th, around January, a 1-ton mobile refueling vehicle was speeding on a two-lane road in Yeosu City, Jeonnam, when it crashed into a streetlight, causing serious injuries to the driver.

The vehicle was severely damaged, and the driver sustained major injuries to the leg area.

At that moment, Jo, who was delivering mail nearby, discovered the accident scene and called 119, and took prompt emergency measures until the paramedics arrived.

Jo secured as much space as possible in the compressed driver's seat and covered the driver with a blanket to prevent body temperature from dropping in the cold weather, providing first aid.

He said, "Anyone would have done the same in that situation, and it was a natural thing to do," adding, "I hope the driver recovers quickly."
