Sponsorship of Condensing Boilers at Old House Repair Sites
Kyungdong Navien announced on the 27th that it will participate in the "Public-Private Partnership Aged Housing Improvement Project" organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the National Balanced Development Committee. Through this project, Kyungdong Navien will sponsor condensing boilers for vulnerable groups.
To this end, Kyungdong Navien signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the 2023 Public-Private Partnership Aged Housing Improvement Project with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and others. This project, which started in 2018, aims to provide a comfortable living environment for vulnerable groups or residents of houses aged 30 years or more. Private companies and the government cooperate to support housing repairs.

Starting this year, Kyungdong Navien will participate in the aged housing improvement project and sponsor condensing boilers. With Kyungdong Navien's participation, the energy efficiency of the renovated houses is expected to improve further. Condensing boilers, which recover and utilize heat hidden in exhaust gases, save up to 28.4% more energy compared to conventional boilers.
Kim Yong-beom, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kyungdong Navien, said, "We will continue to practice our management philosophy of social contribution through business and strive to create a better world."
